The XXIII annual Summer Conference on Topology and its Applications took place from the 29th of July to the 1-st of August of 2008 in Mexico City. The First Summer Conference was held in 1984 in New York City and the previous one took place in Castellon, Spain in 2007. The Conference consisted of 6 plenary talks, two workshops and contributed talks of 25 minutes in parallel special sessions.
Several areas of topology-related mathematics, especially general/set theoretic topology, continuum theory, geometric topology, and applications of topology to other areas of mathematics and the sciences, especially in theoretical computer science, were covered.
